Snowfest 2009

Date: December / 18 / 2009
Cold Hands, Warm Smiles, Hot Cocoa…

Bradenton Prep's Snowfest, an annual favorite for students in the Elementary through High School, was held on Thursday, December 10th.  Earlier in the day the Kindergarten/First Grade invited family and friends to make gingerbread houses.  Each year they learn about International Customs for their Social Studies unit. I'm not sure who has the most fun, but I do know who eats the most candy! (Parents, you know who you are)

As the "snow" fell outside, everyone was enjoying musical performances, sweet treats and plenty of hot cocoa!  Many of the guests visited with Santa as he stopped by BPA to celebrate the season and catch up with all of the good little boys and girls.  Kids of all ages were sledding outside while many of us finished up some last minute holiday shopping at the silent auction or the Scholastic Book Fair.  What a great way to get into the spirit of the season!
