Welcome to Bradenton Preparatory Academy!

My name is Frank Salemi and I am the director of the elementary school. I am very proud to lead Bradenton Prep’s student-centered elementary program which includes kindergarten through sixth grade.

The elementary school experience forms the building blocks for children as they become readers, problem solvers, and members of a school community. Bradenton Preparatory Academy nurtures a child’s desire to grow and become independent by using a variety of hands-on, student-centered activities to create meaningful learning experiences.

Everyday Mathematics and Shurley English form the base for our math and language arts studies. Hands-on, interactive science labs encourage learning through discovery and exploration. Children engage in a variety of project based learning experiences to travel through different periods of history. Studies in music, art, foreign language, health and fitness, and computer technology complete our elementary curriculum. Off-campus learning opportunities begin with field trips in the lower grades and progress to overnight trips in the upper elementary.

The elementary faculty and staff enthusiastically support the students as they pursue academic and social experiences that help them develop their talents and strengths. Our elementary program recognizes that children learn in different ways. Differentiated education focuses on addressing a variety of learning styles in the classroom.
