Clubs and Activities
One of the primary purposes of a school is that they must play a role in the personal development of young people as social beings who have needs beyond those that are strictly academic. At Bradenton Prep we give students the opportunity to become actively involved that development by offering a variety of activities that encourage leadership, character development, socialization skills and community service. Whether you choose to be part of a committee, prefer to remain behind the scenes or are an emerging young leader, you will find your place at the Prep.
By giving students ownership of their activities we foster a sense of accomplishment on a job well done. To that end, each Club or Council is student run with a faculty advisor. Officers are elected each year by their classmates and act as a liaison between the student body and the Administration. Students take responsibility for the planning, budgeting and raising the funds necessary to sponsor their different events in addition to their philanthropic endeavors each year. These tasks serve in helping students to develop not only organizational and time management skills but most importantly learning the value of teamwork!
